Joint Logistics Base. Sounds like something out of a war zone, and that’s not a far stretch. All-Hands developed this space adjacent to their rented volunteer base by purchasing a bunch of sea containers, hiring security and dressing it up a little bit. As narrated in the video, a number of aid groups lease the space. While it does provide a wee bit of income for All-Hands, more importantly it provides aid groups with a safe and organized place to store goods, and provides lots of networking opportunities. Namely, the World Food Programme, one of the tenants, has approached us with the opportunity to use some of their excavators for a while to speed up our rubble clearing operations. Surely much quicker than sledge hammers and wheel barrows!
