I started this blog when I went to help Haitians rebuild what was lost, and build what they never had. An engineer by trade and a humanist by living, I intended to bring my game face to a country riddled with social issues including political instability, civil unrest, high unemployment, political violence, extreme poverty, high crime, and law enforcement corruption. But were times when that game face cracked and I felt the need to share what I was experiencing.
Since Haiti, I’ve posted a handful of items. I plan to resume this conversation from my home in Canmore, Alberta. I hope that you, the visitors to this site, will engage in this conversation and enjoy doing so.
